Munich [Germany]Feb. 20 (ANI): External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar expressed his joy at meeting the Indian community in Munich on Sunday morning and said their feelings for the country were so “warming”.

The foreign minister also shared the “confident national mood” with members of the community and underlined the strong momentum of Indo-German relations.

“Wonderful to see the community participation on a cold Munich Sunday morning. Their feelings for India were so warm. Shared with them the confident national mood. And highlighted the strong momentum of Indo-German relations,” Jaishankar tweeted today.

Jaishankar is in Munich to attend a security conference. He held a series of meetings with ministers from Europe, Asia and other parts of the world during his visit to Germany.

In a meeting with Singapore Defense Minister Ng Eng Hen, Jaishankar discussed bilateral and ASEAN-related defense cooperation. They also shared assessments of regional hotspots.

Jaishankar also met with members of the European Parliament and had discussions on transparency, reliable supply chains and global order.

Separately, the minister held a meeting with his Mongolian counterpart Battsetseg Batmunkh and discussed cooperation in the fields of energy, IT and coal. “The partnership with our spiritual neighbor continues to grow stronger,” he said.

Jaishankar also met with Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde, where he noted progress in bilateral cooperation. (ANI)
