At launch, the service will offer twelve original audio broadcasts in Gujarati, including inspiring stories of great Indian leaders, the significance of Gujarat’s famous temples, compelling stories behind the creation of iconic Gujarati musical hits, and storytelling short by Munshi Premchand.
The show’s diverse lineup will capture the true spirit of the language, the company said.
He intends to add more original content every week.

In India, Gujarati is spoken by over 55 million people, making it the sixth most spoken language in the country.
aawaz, an on-demand audio and spoken word podcast network with 100% original audio content, has been live since January 2019 and offers content in Hindi, English, Marathi and Urdu languages. It offers more than 1700 hours of content in 22 different genres such as humor, entertainment, stories, development, spiritual, etc.
The Gujarati service will also feature “Gijubhai Ni Balvartao”, a narration of top picks written by Gujarat’s pioneering educator “Gijubhai Badheka” to entertain the little ones.
