Bahrain’s Indian community gathers to express support for Mohammed Farhad

Mohammed Farhad had to travel 2,955 kilometers from his home country of India to Bahrain for his return to action under the BRAVE Combat Federation banner after 12 months since he last set foot times in the cage.

Luckily for him, the 32-year-old veteran need not feel far from home as Bahrain’s Indian community gathered in the lobby of the stylish Wyndham Garden Manama to voice their support for his upcoming fight.

Farhad is set to compete on the BRAVE CF 57 support card on Friday, March 11, where he faces Egypt’s Maysara Mohamed in a three-round bantamweight clash.

Farhad is riding a three-game winning streak. His last outing in the promotion saw him pick up a sensational second-round knockout victory over Uloomi Karim, cementing his position as the No. 11 ranked bantamweight in the Middle East.

Meanwhile, Maysara holds an impeccable 5-0 record with three knockout wins. The promising Egyptian left a lasting impression on his promotional debut in March 2021, edging out Issa Salem by unanimous decision.

BRAVE CF 57 will take place at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town, Bahrain, with three world title fights as the main attractions.
